The stuff are affable and very very nice and really care about the guests. The hotel offers a huge variety of food that was outstanding!

The staff at Hotel Initial-Taichung were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. One particular staff member, 宥涵 , stood out with her great confidence and wonderful smile. The location of the hotel was also convenient, being just a short walk from Gancheng Station and within walking distance of the Taichung Railway Station. The proximity to the Second Public Market and Yizhong Night Market was also a bonus. We were able to easily explore these attractions and take buses to places like SML and Cingjing farm. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent as well, providing a delicious start to our day. I highly recommend Hotel Initial-Taichung for a pleasant stay in the central district of Taichung.

Exceptionally comfortable bed, quiet and relaxing room with central heating, TV set, and a fridge. Spacious private bathroom. Location really close to taichung park, the night market, taichung park and other good eateries, and malls. For tea or coffee visit Disi Xinyong Hezhuoshe nearby.

Not very friendly staff!

This hotel is a great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is fantastic, as it is near the train station and within walking distance of shops. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service.

No major issues, everything was okay.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. the room was spacious enough for my family of four, with a king-sized bed that was actually two super single beds pushed together. Secondly, the hotel's location was ideal, within walking distance of the train station and a nice night market. Lastly, the staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel is not very strict with their non-smoking policy, as the cigarette smoke smell lingers in the hallways. the extra bed we paid for was just a mattress on the floor, which was not very comfortable.
